^_^ Many people end up charting out all the rain and sun points for their crops every day so they know whether to water or not and when to expect a harvest.Īnd then there are all the lists for recipes, sunstones, birthday gifts, etc.tricks for getting the wonderfuls you want from Chen in Winter and from the bottom of the mine (and the mine has 255 floors, by the way.). You will probably want to throw your DS at the wall when you get too many rainy days in a row and your yams die, or too many sunny days and your strawberries die. It is fully possible to overwater a crop and kill it, or (with some crops) even get too much sun and have the plant die as well. That's because of the huge number of things to keep track of.įor instance, every crop has its own sun and water requirements. SI is a game I would really recommend getting the strategy guide for, if you can find it. ^_^ And I'll agree with what the other person said if you DO start SI now, you probably will NOT finish it before ToTT comes out. If you are new to Harvest Moon games (and/or haven't played them in a long time, like your post implies).Grand Bazaar will definitely be easier to start out with. Which is to say, that while Grand Bazaar was geared more towards HM-newbies and people who wanted a relaxing game, Sunshine Islands is more for people who are hard-core HM players and people who like having to keep track of lots of things at once. Sunshine Islands is really what I would call "the Harvest Moon player's Harvest Moon". Hi, I saw your similar thread in Grand Bazaar.so I figured I might as well contribute to this one too.
